Hiya peeps!
Busy, busy week! But I got around to pick up a couple of items that I really like and combine them into a new outfit. Truth has some new hairs out! Check them out. :) Genre has started and there are quite a few new and nice things out there. :D Lets have a peek at what my elfy is wearing.
The hair!
I am in utter love with the hair shown on the picture below. It is a new style by Magika (Sabina Gully) and it is gorgeous. It comes in three sizes and you can choose between three variations of colour HUDS, all of which include 30 (!!!) tones. For 250 Lindens, that’s a steal for sure. I only wish Magika would start to include hairs for bigger boobies, not that I need them personally, but it would be nice to have. I LOVE Magika’s textures and I was getting a little tired of her styles lately, so this one was a very, very nice surprise. Very different from everything she has and overall pretty unique. I very much like the small wisps of hair standing and the somewhat tousled look. Happiness in a folder! :D
The tunic (and the crown)!
The tunic is an item I picked up at Discovering Destiny’s store On A Lark. I saw it and instantly thought it would be nice for mixing and matching it with other outfits. E voilà, it works! :) I have been watching this store for quite some time and noticed that she has moved on to making original mesh by now. I am not sure whether or not this is a template, but I like it! I don’t really care if it is, the texture is pretty and the design is just perfect for all kinds on outfits. There’s just one thing that bugs me: I cannot seem to find demos at the store. Or maybe I am blind? Not sure. I tried it anyways, which HONESTLY I rarely, if ever, do and I am glad I did so in this case. :)
Plus, check out this gorgeous crown on the picture above. I am in love, in love, in love. So far her best original mesh piece hands down. :) Available NOW at Genre!!!
The boots!
Boots for role-play are a rare find on SL. Especially if you don’t want to play some trashy hooker, don’t want to look totally out of place in a medieval sim and don’t want zippers or SHINY leather all over the place. I squee’ed when I saw these boots at Rucy Byron’s store Aphorism. I am a BIG fan of rough looking, thick leather and buckles. :) I enjoy the thick wrinkles and the general shape of these. They come in various sizes and the price of 350 Lindens seems very reasonable for original mesh. :) Also, hint, hint: A darker version of these are the current GROUPGIFT available at the store. I’d highly recommend to pick those up! Imho, these boots fit well into any kind of medievalish environment. :D
